About Emeillia Gomo
Hi, my name is Emeillia Gomo. I have been working with horses for as long as I can remember. I was brought up using traditional training methods, which seemed to “work” for a short while. Eventually, I ran into gaps in my training that could not be fixed with traditional methods. Then, I adopted a rescue pony mare that was fearful and would use a freeze response. I knew I needed to make a change.
I remember being younger and watching YouTube videos of Lindsey Partridge performing with her big blue tarp. This led to taking lessons from Harmony Instructor Melissa Ellis, and she opened my eyes to a whole new world. I spent many hours at Melissa’s barn, where I learned about Harmony Horsemanship. I had the privilege of learning from Lindsey and participating in several of her clinics.
Now I am a Class 1 Harmony Horsemanship Instructor based out of my parents farm in Chester, VT.
Why Harmony Horsemanship? For me, it’s the connection with myself and my horse. It’s mutual communication and listening, and a true partnership. HH has completely changed my life, not just my horsemanship, but my connection with myself and others. I’ve achieved so many of my dreams, including bridleless riding and liberty. I still have so much to learn, but I’m so excited to do so.
I’m thrilled to share Harmony Horsemanship with you and your horses!
